As a competitive swimmer, Keelin trained with the NZL Swim scheme prior to the creation of Phoenix Aquatics. Swimming has been an interest of Keelin’s since a young age and developed into something more special when he started to swim competitively with the National Squad.
Keelin began teaching in 2018 and really enjoyed the experience of mentoring children and helping them in any way he can to reach their potential in swimming. His aim is to ensure that all children feel safe in the water and start to enjoy the fun swimming has to offer.Keelin is a student at Northcote College and enjoys playing football in his spare time. He plans to study abroad once he has left school and intends to follow his passion for the sciences and social sciences. He hopes to eventually turn this goal into a career in the medical field.
